babies welcome.
Therapy to support mums - pregnancy, postnatal, and parenthood.

hello.
I'm Milly, a BACP-registered Psychotherapist who works with people navigating pregnancy, the postnatal period, fertility issues, baby loss, birth trauma and the significant emotional challenges that can come with becoming a parent.I offer 1:1 sessions, birth debrief sessions for couples, and group therapy for mums. Details and prices for all of these are below.I also work with adults seeking support for other life difficulties, whether or not they relate to parenthood.
something doesn't feel right.
You may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, low, or simply unlike yourself. Perhaps something feels difficult in a way you can’t fully explain yet. You might be struggling with the changes parenthood has brought to your identity, your relationships, or your confidence. For some people, the relationship they’re finding hardest is the one with their baby.I offer support that is human and warm. Therapy with me is about making sense of what’s going on, feeling more able to cope, and having somewhere you can speak honestly without needing to hold everything together. If you would like to learn more, or if you have any questions, get in touch with me to arrange an introductory call where we can get to know each other a little. You can then decide in your own time if you’d like to work with me.Below are the types of session I offer - babies are welcome at all of them.
home visit
It's not always easy to leave the house, with or without a baby. If you live within around 10 miles of Tring, Hertfordshire, I can come to you.
50 minutes - £60
walk and talk
You might be nap-walking a baby, or just want some exercise - I'll meet you somewhere outdoors which fits with your day.
50 minutes - £60
zoom session
50 minutes - £60
I also offer 30 minute Zoom sessions if the full 50 minutes is tricky for you.
30 minutes £40
birth debrief
The arrival of a baby can leave little space to process the birth itself. Whether your experience was upsetting, traumatic or unexpected, a Birth Debrief offers both parents a chance to make sense of their experience and explore its impact together.
1 hour - £80
mental health m.o.t.
You don’t have to be in crisis to benefit from support. This one-off session is a space to take stock and talk about how you’re feeling since becoming a parent.
1 hour - £70
motherhood, honestly.
This six-week course of group therapy is for mothers who are finding parenthood emotionally harder than they expected. You don’t need a diagnosis, and you don’t need to be in crisis. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, fearful, low, lonely, angry, guilty, or simply unlike yourself, you’re welcome.
We’ll meet once a week in a small group, giving us time to get to know one another and build trust.
This is more than a support group. As a qualified psychotherapist, I’ll guide our conversations to help make sense of what’s going on rather than simply sharing experiences. Together we’ll explore themes such as identity, relationships, expectations, guilt, and self-criticism. There will be space to understand difficult feelings, notice patterns, and think about what might help.£120 for 6 sessions of 1.5 hours, including hot drinks.
Sessions run on Wednesday mornings from The Village Midwife HQ in Wendover. Babies welcome.Upcoming dates:
September 9th - October 14th 2026 - 10am - 11.30am
